Summer Soccer Camps beginning in June.

June 3-6, 9am-12pm: 4Ls Skills Camp (Ages U6-U14, Boys and Girls) (Developmental, Academy & Select)
The Summer Skills Camp is designed to challenge all players both technically and tactically. Training is dedicated to players looking to improve their foot skills, striking ability, agility and fitness before the Fall 2019 season. The coaches will set up an environment that challenges the player’s technical and physical growth. Each day will end in a scrimmage so that players can utilize what they have learned during the day and have the opportunity to implement it in a game situation. The players will have fun as well as be challenged to improve!
Cost $120.00. All campers receive a camp T-shirt.

June 17-20, 9am-12pm: 4Ls Challenge Camp (Ages U6-U14, Boys and Girls) (Developmental, Academy & Select)The 4L Challenge Camp is designed for U6 to U14 aged players. The players will be divided into groups based on age and ability to better facilitate the development of the players attending the camp. Challenge Camp will be fun and challenging, building on the skill sets of each individual player. There will be an emphasis on foot skills and small-sided games to help develop the technical and tactical aspects of soccer. Each session will finish with a scrimmage. During each session, mini competitions will be organized to encourage players to sharpen their play.
Cost $120.00. All campers receive a camp T-shirt

June 24-27, 5pm-8pm: 4Ls Strikers and GoalKeepers Camp (Ages U8-U16, Boys and Girls) (Developmental, Academy & Select)This camp is for Goalkeepers and Strikers who want to have the basic and competitive aspect of the game are trained in areas like ball handling, high balls, footwork, diving, communication and distribution which can be overlooked when training as part of a team This camp will focus on the tactical side of stopping and saving goals. It will provide challenges for competitive players. Strikers will be taught how to create space in the attacking third of the field, and how to finish opportunities. This is for all field players who love to score goals and would like to create more goal scoring opportunities. This camp will focus on the technical and tactical side of scoring goals. It will provide challenges for competitive players. This one of a kind unique camp that will train field players and their teammates to create and score more goals for you and your teammates. If you play center midfielder, striker, winger, outside midfielder, center forward, defense or if you’re considering changing your position to more of an attacking role, then this camp was made just for you. Goalkeepers and Strikers train independently but come together during afternoon session enabling players to put techniques into practice.
Cost $140.00. All campers receive a camp T-shirt.

July 15-18, 9am-12pm: AUSA Academy Team Camp (Ages U9-U12, Boys and Girls) – Academy Players Only
This camp is offered only to those who are playing or will play in Athens United’s Academy Program. This camp is designed to prepare Academy players for the Fall 2016 season. All Academy players are strongly recommended to participate. The camp is a great way for the team players to get to know each other and prepare for the new season. The Academy Camp offers a unique, dynamic soccer environment in which players master the mental, physical and technical skills of the game. Our precise step-by-step teaching methods create a crystal clear picture of each skill through demonstration, explanation, and participation.
Cost $100.00. All campers receive a camp T-shirt.

July 15-18 or July 22-25, 5pm-8pm: AUSA Select Team Camp (U13-U19) - Select Players Only
This camp is offered only to those who are playing Select (Classic or Athena) Soccer this Fall, and is designed to prepare the team and players for the upcoming season! All Select players are strongly encouraged to participate. The camp is a great way for the team to get to know each other for the new season. The Select Team Camp is designed for the focused soccer athlete. From specialized speed and agility training to tactically focused small-sided games, this camp offers a training environment that challenges all players to achieve their best. The camp combines individual skills with advanced team tactics to enhance the development of each player and team. Teams will be instructed on the principles of zonal defending, possession, combination play, 1v1 play, counter-attacking and finishing. Teams will be exposed to challenging training sessions.
Cost $100.00. All campers receive a camp T-shirt.

All camps will be run by Lloyd White, AUSA’s Executive Director and staffed with a nationally licensed coaching staff. The soccer staff will be comprised of licensed and professional coaches from around the Southeast. All coaching staff members are highly qualified to instruct and evaluate your child.

Player to Coach Ratio: We keep the player to coach ratios low so that each individual player will have the attention and direction he/she needs to develop and become a better player.
