Dear AUSA Players & Parents:

 

AUSA is closely monitoring CoViD in the area.  We are concerned about recent trends reported by health officials, but thus far are advised that North Georgia is doing better that surrounding areas, and as of today we plan to adhere to the phased in play schedule released earlier.  If, however, our local situation changes and/or health officials advise us to do so, this schedule will be changed and participants will be immediately notified.

 

For AUSA players who want to participate in the the Fall 2020 Season, optional on-field training begins the week of July 13, 2020 and ends in late November 2020.  As of now AUSA plans on proceeding with its plan for the Fall 2020 soccer schedule under the plan the club emailed out a couple of weeks ago. We will likely be updating our Training Guidelines in the coming days. 

 

Please note, however, that in the event that the Fall 2020 soccer season is cancelled or paused by Georgia Soccer or US Soccer any time after July 13 due to COVID-19, AUSA will refund a percentage of the season’s fees based on the following formula:  The amount refunded will be the percent of the Fall 2020 season not played multiplied by the full season’s fees paid, less a $58 administrative fee per player (which is an amount to cover $38 in fees paid by AUSA per player to GA Soccer [presuming GA Soccer does charge the full amount of this fee] and $20 for registration fees for AUSA)
