Team Update 3/19/15

I wanted to provide an update on a few things and figured I would try to do so via this news area of the team website to see how it works out.

Chiquita (Chris's mom) has volunteered to coordinate a snack schedule. She has sent out a spreadsheet with a signup list. If anybody has not seen this email, please let me know and I'll make sure the email contact information is correct.

We have had two games thus far and the team is doing great. The last game was tough but the kids did a great job of keeping their heads up and in the game. Please continue to remind the kids that win or lose, sportsmanship is a huge part of this so lets keep any talk on the field accusing the other team of cheating or saying "bad game" in the line at the end of the game off the field. Don't get me wrong, I don't blame them as this Wednesday's game was frustrating, but it makes for a good teaching moment.

As the question has been raised a few times, for the rest of the season Mondays will be practice at field 2. Wednesday and Saturday will both be game days. The fields listed on the schedule are wrong so here is your decoder key: (1A - 2A, 1B - 2B, 1C - 2C, 1D - 2D, 2N - 3N). Field locations:

Field 2A - Front Right
Field 2B - Front Left
Field 2C - Back Left
Field 2D - Back Right

Field 3N - Back Left on field 3.
